After the success of last year's art competition "Černý Petr z Terezína" and the positive response from the general public, this year the Jewish Community of Brno and the Centre for Jewish Culture ŠTETL in cooperation with the Gymnasium Přírodní škola, z.ú., are launching another nationwide art competition for pupils and students of primary, secondary and elementary art schools in the Czech Republic. In line with the theme of the upcoming edition of ŠTETL FEST "The End of War?" it will be dedicated to children's publishing in the Terezín ghetto and will aim to create one edition of a magazine based on those produced in Terezín.

The situation of the interned children, the fate of some of the creators and the magazines themselves will be presented by František Tichý, the founder of the Přírodní škola Gymnasium and the Terezín Relay initiative, who has long been involved in the topic professionally and is, among others, the winner of the Magnesia Litera award for his book Transport for Eternity and the author of the publication about Peter Ginz, The Prince with the Yellow Star.
